Launched in July 2004, the Expat Finland web site has quickly grown to become a major information resource and portal not only for expatriates living in Finland, or planning to move here, but for Finns seeking information on how to get things done in Finland.

Typical visitors to Expat Finland are actively seeking relevant information &/or solutions to the issues they face; whether they are looking for a job, a moving company or an accountant, chances are they will actually use the information gathered from this site. With this in mind the Expat Finland style is essentially Finnish; the no-nonsense format downloads quickly, is easy to navigate and search, and provides current, concise information in logical sections.

For companies and organisations looking to target a qualified audience, several advertising opportunities are now available.

Traffic: The amount of people using www.expat-finland.com is rapidly increasing. The primary reasons for this are:

Expat Finland is a 3-level site:

• The Home, or front page (www.expat-finland.com - most visited page)
• The Section indexes (ex. www.expat-finland.com/employment)
• The Regular pages (ex. www.expat-finland.com/employment/finding_work.html)

Ad Sizes: 3 standard ad sizes are currently available:
Button:  140 x 56 pixels		Badge:  140 x 112 pixels

Banner:  400 x 56 pixels

Ad Positions: 4 positions are available (see examples above)

Left:	Available for Button and Badge ads. These appear under the main menu on the left of the screen, above any 'Ads by Google', and are available on all pages.
Right:	Available for Button and Badge ads. These appear under the Search button on the right of the screen, and are available on all pages.
Top:	Available for Banner ads. These are generally* available only on Section index pages, and appear under the section description. *in some cases they may also appear on Regular pages - please enquire
Bottom:	Available for Banner ads. One space is available at the bottom of the Home page. On Section index pages they appear under the 'Section in Brief' box. On Regular pages they appear at the bottom of the related topic - see example.

Advertising Rates:

The following are standard advertising rates. If you have special requirements (ex. links to different parts of your web site, addition of text-based information regarding your organisation etc.) please mention them in the form below.

Rate Changes & Discounts:

• Rates are fixed for the period of your subscription
• Subscriptions are for a minimum of 3 months
• A 10% discount applies to 6-month subscriptions
• A 20% discount applies to 12-month subscriptions
• Advertised rates for new subscriptions are subject to change without notice

Additional Information:

• To keep Expat Finland clean and fast the amount of advertising per page is limited
• Advertisements must be relevant to the page on which they are placed
• In the Left position, ads will be placed above 'Ads by Google'
• 'Stuart Allt Web Design' ads will be removed to accommodate clients' ads
• Advertisements will be custom-made by Stuart Allt Web Design - included in subscription
• Animated ads are not available
