Driving instruction permit The Driving Instruction Permit applicant must possess the right to operate a driving instruction vehicle and have no less than three years’ experience driving a vehicle intended for driving instruction. The instruction permit applicant must pass a theory test. Vehicles to be used in driving instruction must be inspected for this specific purpose.
